Diana was awarded “Canada’s 2005 Pizza Chef of the Year” and “Canada’s 2006 Pizza Chef of the Year’ by Canadian Pizza Magazine.
Diana was also awarded “Canada’s Best Pizza Chef 2007” at the World Pizza Olympic Games in Salsomaggiore, Italy and awarded “Canada”s Best Pizza Chef 2008” at the 2008 World Pizza Championship Games in Salsomaggiore, Italy. Diana was awarded runner up for “Canada’s Best Pizza Chef 2009” by Canadian Pizza Magazine and then retired from pizza competitions. Diana judged at the 2009 World Pizza Championship games in Salsomaggiore, Italy.

Who are we?

We are your friendly neighbourhood pizzeria with some big differences. Our reputation for high quality gourmet pizzas are known to be the tastiest in town plus we offer great value and friendly service. Our small family owned and operated pizzeria takes pride in every pizza we serve and we want to make your experience with us nothing short of great!

How are we different?

We are committed to serving the best pizza using only the finest ingredients available. Everything from crust to toppings is prepared fresh in our store. We believe that pizza can be nutritious and delicious. We use big-on-taste low-in-fat mozzarella (15%m.f.) on all our pizzas. We make our 5 types of dough from scratch (premium unbleached white flour, whole-wheat, crispy-thin our Award Winning Moosehead Crust and our gluten free pizza crust) with all-natural ingredients and only use olive oil and sea salt for that great Italian flavour.

All of our vegetables are selected and prepared by hand to ensure the best and freshest product possible for our customers. We carry over 48 different toppings, including 30 gourmet and 16 vegetarian delights. We offer your choice of 5 types of cheese, our low-fat mozzarella, cheddar, feta, Monterey jack and our garlic'n'chive Havarti. If anything is less than perfect we will not use it.

Our sauce is a special blend of 6 herbs and spices, marinated for 24 hours in small batches to create a one-of-a-kind homemade taste.

Our Seasoned Beef and Hot & Spicy Beef toppings are made from fresh lean ground beef, carefully cooked with excess fat removed before our famous tex-mex seasonings are added. Hot sauce gives our Hot & Spicy beef that extra kick!

We listen to our customers and develop new products to meet their needs. Our bake-at-home pizza kits have all the convenience of frozen pizza but with all that fresh pizzeria taste. Everything you need from sauce to toppings is conveniently packaged for you to assemble. Just bake, it’s ready in 15 minutes. Great for the cottage, when friends drop by or just when you get that craving for fresh pizza. Or if you prefer, just ask for Take‘n’Bake; any crust, sauce, cheese and toppings you’d like, available in our medium 12” size and our large 14” size. Bakes up hot & fresh when you’re ready.

And what could be better than focaccia bread served piping hot with your favourite salad or a big bowl of chilli. Our focaccia bread kit comes complete and takes only 15 minutes to bake. For those who want a portable pizza for bag lunches we have our stuffed panzerotti.

Our commitment to high standards extends to our staff. We provide a high level of training, ensuring that all staff are highly skilled at what they do. We value our staff and treat them with respect and courtesy, and they respond the same in return. We like to have fun while we work which is evident by the big smiles that greet you in our store and our friendly telephone manner.

Even though we have kept our operation small, we can handle all your needs. No event is too large. We cater socials, retirement celebrations, business meetings, school pizza days and team wind-ups.

We believe that businesses must be responsible to the community in which they operate. We support our community by donating and discounting pizzas for a variety of fundraisers. We practice commerce with a conscience and a smile.
